Dr. Lara Freeman is a specialist Upper Gastrointestinal and General Surgeon with extensive experience in the most current minimally invasive techniques for both Bariatric (weight loss) and General Surgery. She has a particular interest in Revisional Bariatric Surgery, and completed a sub-specialist Upper GI and Bariatric Fellowship at the Austin Hospital – an Australia and New Zealand Gastro-Oesophageal Surgical Association training institution. Dr. Freeman also received the 2010 Young Investigators Award for outstanding research at the Australian National Bariatric Meeting.
